that's in Wairau Valley, Blenheim. First pic on the dun is looking down onto the Wairau River and the Ranges on the North side.

Luff Blenheim :o)

woodhill forest = LOVE :) amazing tracks through there, also love okura for a more cruisier pace

My fav ride was up in whangarei heads - My friend worked on a treking place and we took the horses out with my friends I grew up with and rode with as kids at PC - we swum up and esturary (saddle and all) and took them down on the beach for a massive beach gallop with a large group of us - no one else was on the beach...

then swum up the esturary home!

I love Whitford beach but as I'm in dairy Flat it is a bit far to go often... it's so cool though being able to rie the path then cruise over to the beach for a swim and the beach is full of just horses it's awesome!

Another one that I didn't make it on as I broke my arm was the Equicycle challenge held by the Redvale Polo X it was a 15km ride through the back of Dairy Flat and timed for horses vs bikes, some went fast and hard while others just cruised around.. I watched and it looked like soooooo much fun!

Best and worst trek was on the same one! Three days treking over some magical country by Bennydale. First two days magic on my TB. She was pretty full and did a lot of jig jogging but was very safe really and i found her so comfortable! She lost a lot of weight though so borrowed a 14.2 cross bred for third day. Couldn't walk that night! Rode like a 12 hand pony! Chop chop chop! Great nature but not built for comfort. Definatly missed my girl that day!
